bout of books starting line

i am participating in the bout of books read-a-thon that started today... stay tuned because wednesday i am hosting a giveaway along with co-host actin' up with books where i will be giving away a copy of witch craft which is full of all kinds of halloween diy projects [you have to sign up for the read-a-thon to enter so go ahead and do that here if you are interested]

my goals:
  • read the girl's guide to starting your own business which has been sitting in my hoarder room for a few years untouched to try to get some motivation for the business side of my photography
  • read through and pick out favorite ideas from the pocket muse to help me prepare for NaNoWriMo... i thought i had so many ideas for a book and now that i'm actually going to try it i'm drawing a complete blank, one week to prepare myself before i have to get started!

    good luck with the read-a-thon! :) haha when I was younger, I participated in one, but I didn't exactly understand the idea, I thought, for every book I read, somebody was going to donate a certain amount of money to a charity, so I read, and read, and ended up with 100+ books. (I wasn't very old so they were easy books), then one day near the end of the read-a-thon, a friend asked me how many sponsors I had and I kind of went blank and... 'oh...'.
